GSI Food continues to exceed its limits and in this opportunity managed to dock in a new port of Venezuela to meet the needs of its allies thanks to one of its ships with raw material managed to reach not only Puerto Cabello but also Cumaná in the state Sucre, to the east of the country.
The ship that arrived in Venezuela is “Hope” and arrived on August 16 in Puerto Cabello with wheat HRW and DNS, which both total of 32,650 tons and according to the International Trade Manager, Andrea Guevara, at the end of his unloading operations in that port will leave for Puerto Sucre in Cumaná, capital of the state of Sucre, to unload another 8002, 21 tons for one of his allies.
“It is the first time that we unload in Venezuela in an additional port to Puerto Cabello and it arises from the need to satisfy the requirements of our allies because we know that in Venezuela there are plants that have offices that are distant from that port, but that is closer to others that are in the country and the fact of unloading in Puerto Sucre allows us to save in terms of land freight and also to be more competitive and diligent for our allies”, said Guevara, who added that the effort to carry out logistics from different ports allows us to even other plants of this ally are reactivated and even a port that had long been without significant international activity.
It should be noted that the last ship with raw material that landed in Puerto Sucre was in February 2019 with a cargo of 17,000 tons of wheat, that is, GSI Food after a year and a half made that port had an important unloading activity.
With this new achievement, GSI Food will not only arrive by sea through the center of Venezuela but also towards the east, with the promise that they will soon arrive towards the west of the country, always with the aim of expanding and building solutions for its allies that suit your needs.
