GSI Food continues to enhance its commodity catalog by marketing refined sugar to continue its path of success in the food market.
The refined sugar was transported, from Guatemala to Puerto Cabello in Venezuela, by the vessel Nikolas with a total quantity of 185.50 tons.
The marketing of sugar was a challenge that last year GSI Food set out to launch, which represented a greater challenge to its activities since it is a high demand and certain legal regulations that required a prior research work. They also had to know this new commodity in its handling, both in terms of terminology and in the technical specifications that each customer needs.
In this sense, they decided to take the step with sugar and as part of the processes of responsibility that GSI Food has taken advantage of its allies in the biscuit sector, who tested and were enthusiastic about the item so they joined the project and achieved this first marketing of refined sugar that already arrived in Venezuela.
