As the last activity of the GENIOS program we decided to organize a unique experience for them; on Saturday July 16 we traveled to Puerto Cabello to show them the Ocamar facilities and the most recent vessel received at the port.
Upon arriving at the installations, they attended a safety talk and during the tour they learned about every part of the operation of the maritime terminal. The tour began at the new entrance of the port and toured the remodeling that is in process, which will make it more efficient with its customers. Then began the tour of the vessel MV CHARLIE, the young people met the crew, and once inside the ship they visited the holds where the bulk cargo comes, they were in the lowest part of the ship, between 6 and 8 meters below sea level, visited the engine room and to finish the visit, they were guided to the highest part of the ship and visited the wheelhouse.
