ANUGA is one of the world’s largest trade fairs and takes place every two years, bringing together hundreds of companies from around the world in the food and beverage industry to showcase their brands, products and latest innovations.
The fair, which was structured in 10 specialized segments called, gourmet food, frozen food, meats, fresh and refrigerated, dairy, bread and bakery, beverages, organic, hot beverages and out-of-home, made it easy, fast and interesting to go through for its visitors, each segment presenting the latest product and food innovations in the food and beverage industry.
Reinaldo Pedrique (CBDO), Stefano Di Lanzo (Trade Manager), Andrea Guevara (Trade Manager) and Pedro Pulido (R&D Manager) were in charge of visiting the fair and getting to know first hand the products that caught their attention and even having direct contact with representatives of the exhibiting brands.
The main objective of GSI Food in ANUGA was to identify new ideas, opportunities and trends that allow it to provide its partners with the best products and services that the food and beverage industry is offering in the market today.
The GSI Food team not only had the opportunity to meet new companies and brands, but it was also the perfect opportunity to strengthen ties with companies that are already part of its allies, such as Ulises Padilla from Industrias Tajín, Djoni André Susin from Afrinvest Global, who is a powerful ally of GSI Food in the Brazilian market, and Daniel Giraud from TRT, its distributors in the United States.
Pedro Pulido says that these meetings allow them to strengthen their business relationships, expand their vision and keep abreast of all new trends in the industry, in order to bring their partners the best in services and products for which GSI Food is characterized.
