The Caledonia biscuit brand belongs to the Mary Foods business group, who have more than 50 years of experience offering their consumers high quality products, technology and tradition, in addition to having experience in the field of confectionery and biscuit manufacturing, consolidating itself as one of the main business groups of the food industry in Venezuela.
María Caledonia biscuits offer a practical option for a snack, and can be consumed alone or wet in milk, coffee, chocolate or tea. In addition, thinking of the Dominican consumer, a practical and ideal packaging was developed for marketing in grocery stores.
Under a significant partnership with the Dominican company Planeta Azul, GSI Food was able to detect an important business opportunity, taking advantage of the company’s potential to transfer, together with its main product, María Caledonia biscuits, which resulted in greater efficiency and improved distribution costs, benefiting both the producer and the distributor.
Since last June, consumers have been able to purchase María Caledonia biscuits in the city of Santo Domingo, on the southern coast and soon in the city of Santiago, where the distribution process is beginning.
